The Cracker Barrel in Paradise, Utah dates back to 1955 when it was a general store, and in 1966 the café side of the structure was added. Prior to the Cracker Barrel, the location was the site of a ZCMI Trading Post that dated back to 1881. In 2002, the general store was converted to a seating area for the restaurant.
Name now changed in 2021 to Stillwater Café and Mercantile.
The restaurant, at 8990 S. State Road 165, has no connection to the national chain and was originally opened in 1955. Portions of the building itself were erected in the 1880s, when it functioned as a Zions Cooperative Mercantile Institution Trading Post.
